Tori Spelling & Brooke Burke have both been spotted wearing the Bailey44 Open Net Dress that is figure flattering and super cute!

I love how Tori wore a floral print skinny belt with hers. Thinking of outfit ideas… I would probably wear this striped dress with a nautical necklace like this anchor one from Caroline Hill Collection and some cute heels.

How would you style this dress?

Celebrity Style: Carrie’s Black Diamond Ring

I don’t know about you, but I am a huge die-hard fan of Sex & The City. Carrie’s fashion sense has been an inspiration to me for years and I found the movies incredibly entertaining.

If you saw Sex & The City 2 movie, you’ll immediately recognize this sterling silver rings as being inspired by the ring that Mr. Big gives Carrie.

In the film when he gave her the ring, he explains why he chose a black diamond, “Because you are not like anyone else”.

This gorgeous thin sterling silver band has pave set CZs extending partially down each side and surrounding the center 2 carat black CZ stone that is absolutely breathtaking. You’ll get Carried away in style with a gorgeous ring like this!

carrie bradshaw black diamond

I’m so in love with this ring because of the black diamond and the design and shape of the ring. It’s comfortable, sparkly and classy. Not so big that it looks cheesy, just enough glam to be feminine and stylish.

It’s sterling silver, rhodium plated and nickle free. Best of all, this ring is totally affordable! Only $60.00 and the option to add engraving for $8.95. Available in sizes 4 – 12. I got a size 5 and it’s a little loose on my right hand ring finger. I think this particular ring might run about 1/4 – 1/2 size big, so keep that in mind when purchasing.

You can find this ring and more at www.emitations.com

They have a gorgeous selection of Romantic Vintage Engagement Rings as well as gorgeous cubic zirconia rings that would be perfect for Valentine’s Day!

I received the item mentioned above in exchange for an honest review.  All opinions are my own and I did not receive compensation for this post.

How to Style Soft Curly Coifs At Home

If you’re looking for a soft, curly hairstyle a la Nikki Reed at Gillette’s ”Kiss and Tell” event, Sebastian Professional stylist Thomas Dunkin has shared several tips for achieving this casual ‘do.

1. Shampoo & Condition

While some styles actually look better with day-old hair, this particular coif requires cleansing and conditioning to look its best. Start by shampooing hair with  Sebastian Professional Trilliance Shampoo, followed up with the matching conditioner. Afterwards, blow-dry hair until your locks are only slightly damp.

2. Volumize

Nothing is worse than a hairstyle that falls flat mid-day, so aim to increase the volume of your hair beforehand. Spritz the roots of your hair with Sebastian Professional Volupt Spray, followed by a generous amount of Sebastian Professional Thickefy Foam applied throughout the length of your hair.

3. Dry

Once you’ve applied your volumizing products, it’s time to get curly! Blow dry large sections of hair and twist each section into a pin curl once dry. Use bobby pins to secure each curl.

4. Brush

Now that your hair has cooled and dried, take out your pin curls and use a vent brush to gently brush out your curls for a soft, sultry wave.

5. Set the Style

For the finishing touch, spritz hair with Sebastian Professional Shaper Hairspray to set your style and add otherworldly shine to your luscious locks.

That’s it! In five easy steps, you can have a casual, curly ‘do that doesn’t require hours in front of a mirror to achieve. To learn more about Sebastian Professional products, including where to buy, please visit SebastianProfessional.com.

Nieves Lavi Dress on New Mom Kourtney Kardashian

Many moons ago, I wrote about repurposing basic maxi dresses as maternity wear. Kourtney Kardashian just showed how to take that principle postpartum. Check her stepping out in a colorful Nieves Lavi caftan below:

Especially knowing how miserably hot it’s been here in SoCal, I give Kourtney a big thumbs up for this breezy look. What do you think? Have you worn this look while pregnant or breastfeeding?

The Look for Less: Steal Taylor Swift’s Style

While out and about in Hollywood recently, Taylor Swift looked absolutely adorable in her Dolce and Gabbana polka dot dress. Unfortunately, the price point isn’t attainable for the average woman, so I’ve put together pieces that are way more affordable and will allow you to steal Swift’s style without breaking the bank.

3. Bpandora Shoulder Bag, $78, Steve Madden

4. BCBGeneration “Jaklyn” Black Bow Heels, $35.99, Overstock.com

Getting Revenge In Style- Part 2

Yesterday I shared my love of Revenge- particularly the fashions those Hamptons ladies wear. In honor of tonight’s finale, I created the following tribute: a fashion face-off between neighboring nemeses Victoria and Emily. As value is always a priority here, I found Grayson-worthy pieces for Stowaway prices.

Since Victoria loves to be the center of attention, she never shies away from color. Her wardrobe is full of conspicuously expensive dresses that fit her like a glove and bold, “notice me” accessories.” (Remember this necklace?) The trickiest part of her look was finding the dress. Rich color + formfitting often looks cheap, something the Queen of the Hamptons certainly isn’t. I hit gold when I found the fabulous Lauren by Ralph Lauren below.

As for Emily, I get the feeling that her pointedly neutral, perfectly classic wardrobe is meant to suggest a blank canvas– revealing nothing about her tormented psyche. (And BTW, she totally validates the ancient proverb, “Any woman wearing that much beige is hiding something.“) Regardless, I love her look and had fun putting together the Emily-appropo ensemble below.
