Avon has announced that Jon Bon Jovi will be the “face” of Avon’s latest fragrance: Unplugged for Him and Her.
Unplugged for Her blends floral and oriental notes while Unplugged for Him will be a mixture of woods, florals and musk. Both scents are described as “exhilarating and captivating,” and is a great collaboration between one of the most iconic rock star’s in the world and one of the biggest forces of beauty.

I had the opportunity to review this fragrance so I could share with The Fashionable Housewife readers exactly what makes this perfume so incredible. The official product description says:
This Mother’s Day, awaken her spirit with this light and refreshing fragrance by Avon. This comforting yet uplifting scent opens with fruity notes of white peach tea, mingled with delicate and fresh freesia blossoms. The heart of the fragrance reveals airy honeysuckle and dewy waterlily, while undertones of vanilla, musk, and sandalwood convey a soothing and comforting effect.
When I tried it, I definitely noticed the fruity/floral notes right away. Normally, I shy away from strong florals because they give me a raging headache and, quite honestly, I feel nauseous wearing them. However, Avon’s Free O2 doesn’t smell disgusting at all. It’s actually light and fresh, and when the fragrance dries down you definitely notice a slightly “darker” undertone courtesy of the vanilla, musk and sandalwood. While the fragrance smells fantastic throughout all of its stages, I almost prefer the more “oriental” notes!
If your mom loves dynamic, fresh fragrances that evoke images and feelings of positivity, calm, and fun, then you simply must pick up Free O2 Eau de Toilette Spray.
