Hello, some help on my body shape.
Bust (shoulders)- 45 (34h) breasts
Waist- 34
Upper Hip- 44
Hips- 48
Thigh- 28
I carry weight on my upper and lower abdomen, upper back (under the bra), inner thighs, and my upper arms, but the rest of my body is ok. My hips are not really wide but I have a big butt and thighs but no saddlebags. So all of my jeans are either too big on the waist or too small on the thighs and butt. Also my waist is very straight until my belly button.

Thanks

Hi Jennifer,

From looking at you pic, I think you fall in the athletic/rectangular category. You're not overweight, but your waist lacks definition. I would focus on styles that nip in at the waist to help give you more of an hourglass figure. Avoid wearing belts below your belly button and avoid dresses with a "drop-waist" that falls at your hipline. This will make it appear as if you don't have any shape at all.

I would choose a dress with an empire waist like this one:

Victoria's Secret - Strapless party dress http://bit.ly/6T0Ai

Or something that nips in at the waist like this one:

Max & Cleo Cowl Neck Matte Jersey Dress - Nordstrom http://bit.ly/4r5YZF

Let me know if you need additional help!

Hi, I am 25 y.o. I am approximately 5' 2"-5'3" and weigh 130lbs. I am 34 Bust, 27 waist, and 37 hips. What body type am I? I have some belly fat and "love handles." I am trying to work out more and eat healtier. I have been wearing just t-shirts and jeans. I am trying to dress more fashionable but do not like anything on me. Any suggestions as to what style of clothing will flatter my body? Thanks!

Hi! I've been wondering about my shape for a while. I think I'm a ruler, while my husband believes I'm an hourglass. My measurements are 33-24.5-33.5. I'm 5'6, 110 lbs, long torso and long legs, both slender. I usually have a flat bottom but when i put on just 5 pounds it goes straight to my hips or chest, or both, making me look quite curvy. I lose weight easily, build muscle easily. which am i, ruler or hourglass?
