Origins Introduces A Nighttime Solution for Healthy, Moisturized, Radiant Skin

Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask

To look your best, start the night before with Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask to quench skin’s thirst. Apply this creamy, ultra-hydrating facial mask before bedtime and fall asleep confident that skin will appear hydrated and refreshed with the morning’s first light.

Mega moisturizers including Orange Peel Wax, Avocado Oil and Mango Butter work with Sodium Hyaluronate and Apricot Kernel Oil to quench parched skin. Drink Up™ Intensive works while you sleep to repair and reinforce skin’s moisture barrier, helping to seal in valuable hydration long into the following day.

Origins was kind enough to let me try out their new Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask. I received a sample in early November and wanted to use it for a couple weeks before I shared my thoughts with you.

I found it to be extremely moisturizing, more so than an intense night cream. It didn’t feel heavy on my skin, but did feel slightly greasy at first. It’s a thin mask that doesn’t try out or change color, so you can put this on in the evening and not have to hide. Hubby won’t even notice you have it on.

I have extremely oily, acne prone skin and used to believe the myth that I need to dry my skin out. In fact, that’s the last thing you should do when you have very oily or acne prone skin. Washing your face too often with drying facial cleansers with salicylic acid strips the essential moisture out of your skin and your face will create MORE oil to compensate for the lose moisture, which in turn makes acne much worse. I’ve been through that cycle a hundred times…

This overnight mask is actually a great treatment for oily and acne prone skin because it will put the good oils and moisture back into your skin while you sleep, without clogging your pores or causing a breakout. I thought I would end up with a bad breakout after using this a couple times but I didn’t. I was so pleased!

One thing you may want to worry about is getting this on your pillow… I recommend putting a clean pillow case on your pillow first (I recommend organic cotton pillowcases) and then washing it the next day. I didn’t have any problems with staining, but I could definitely see where I laid my face on my dark brown pillowcases.

SUMMARY: Overall, this mask is great for ALL skin types. I have oily acne prone skin and it worked great for me and didn’t cause any breakouts. My mother has thin, very dry skin and she was quite pleased with the results as well. It says to use twice a week, but you can use it more often if you wish. My mom found that three times a week was perfect for her.

Best of all, it’s affordable at only $21 per tube and it contains a generous 3.4 oz which will last several months, even with regular use.

It is currently sold out on Origins.com but you can also find it on Dillards.com for the same price!
