December 19th, 2009 at 5:11 amWhat a great contest! I’d love to try these and be able to compare them to Not Your Daughter’s Jeans and, my absolute favorite, Aura Jeans by the Women at Wrangler. My body type is a “column” according to the British hosts of What Not To Wear, and Bradley Bayou’s great book “Science of Sexy” classifies me as a tall average-weight rectangle. My jeans-buying challenges are several: First, I need a long rise, and this is not negotiable; it’s just how my torso is shaped. Second, my inseam has to be tall (i.e., 32-33 inches), not petite, not average, and not extra-tall either. Third, my waist is 36 inches, and I have 40 inch hips; I want to do whatever I can within reason to create the illusion with my clothes that I have an hourglass (i.e., smaller-waisted) figure. So, lead me to Little in the Middle! Thanks for reading this lengthy comment, too …
