I was recently introduced to a gorgeous, fair-trade,
eco-friendly, sustainable, hand-made line of jewelry
by Rebekah Green.

Rebekah, a reverse environmentalist, entertainment personality and designer, launched her new luxury line of sustainable, customizable and handcrafted jewelry made exclusively of recycled gold and fair trade gemstones available exclusively at www.rebekahgreen.com

Inspired by Green’s love for clean, sophisticated design, the line kicks off with six unique earring types – each piece hand-cast, hand-set and hand-polished – manufactured in Los Angeles with 100 percent recycled 14 and 18 karat gold and fair trade gemstones. The line’s introduction marks the first venture for Green’s cutting edge Green Killer enterprises – world-class product designs poised to reinvent how the world approaches sustainability.

Green is one of the first jewelry manufacturers to utilize both the highest quality manmade and natural stones in her line in addition to offering all designs in both 14 and 18 karat gold. Many pairs of Green’s earrings are set with sparkling cubic zirconia, avoiding all potential “blood diamond” conflict issues, and accompanied with entirely biodegradable and plantable packaging.

“It is my job as a sustainable manufacturer to offer a responsible product that women will be proud to own and feel beautiful wearing,” said Green. “My designs are delicate, feminine and embody a richness and warmth that evokes a sense of precious effortlessness. Feeling pretty is powerful!”

Green’s line of eco-friendly jewelry stems from a partnership with manufacturer and original design master-craftsman Eduardo Correa, under the direction of Rebekah Green, Inc. Five percent of all net profits from earring sales will benefit Global Green USA, Charity: Water and Heifer International.

All designs are available exclusively at www.rebekahgreen.com and prices start at just $20! Customers who purchase three or more pairs at once or at least one pair per month (club membership) receive 10% off and free shipping on all orders.

The presentation is adorable and the biodegradable and plantable packaging is a great touch. I think Rebekah’s earrings would make a great gift for any eco-conscious person on your shopping list this Christmas. They will be excited to know the background on the earrings as well. It makes them that much more special.

If you’re thinking of gift ideas, check out the studs and the kids section. You’ll find some adorable snowflake gemstone studs as well as cherries, ladybugs, teddy bears and more, all for around $30. These would make a great stocking stuffer!

Beautiful pair of earrings! Excellent work, great design, and I love the variety of shapes and colors. Buying recycled gold is one of the most ecologically and socially responsible choices a consumer can make. It is great for our pocket and for the Planet. Using recycled gold in jewelry help to dampen the stimulus for mining.
