I tried taking pictures of each color on my lips, but for some reason my camera is refusing to work. Every single picture came out blurry and I was so discouraged, I didn’t bother to take them all over again. Personally I prefer Benefit’s new lip gloss over Urban Decay’s Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss. While I like the container of of UD Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss, the applicator leaves a lot to be desired compared to the neat angled sponge applicator in the Benefit Lip Gloss.

My only complaint is the wand isn’t stiff and you expect it to be. So when you are sweeping the color over your lips, you can’t put a lot of pressure or the wand will bend. I don’t know if this is a feature or a flaw. I guess it depends on what you are used to and what you like. I would prefer it to be a little stiffer, myself.

Other than that, the gloss itself is smooth, non sticky, has a nice shimmer to it and lovely scent and light flavor. The shades are actually lighter than they appear in the tube so don’t worry about trying one of the darker shades. They look great alone or layered over lipstick.
