Crochet Boots Are A Winter Must-Have!

Yes, it’s really time to start thinking about winter. It’s already cold enough to wear boots, but we’re especially partial to crochet boots. (Yah, Ugg boots aren’t the only boots we like!)
LIVS are THE hottest crochet boots around. They were big for winter 2008 and they’re going to stick around for winter 2009.
Not only are they the hottest crochet boots around, they are THE original crochet boots. (And they’re washable too!) Apparently not many people know that, including Uggs. And as much as we like the Ugg Classic Tall Boots, they really lost points with us when they stole the LIVS design and made their own crochet boots. Yes, we hate them for that.

I came across an ADORABLE pair made by Groove as well at Urban Outfitters today… they came in a kelly green color that was so fun and current! Unfortunately, I don’t see them offered at their online store… so check out your local Urban Outfitters!
LOVE the crocheted boot! And don’t be afraid to be bold in color choice! Winter only comes once a year – and we need something uplifting to get us through!
I’m sorry, I’m still not a fan of the LIVS. They’re too expensive. At least the Uggs added sheepskin to make them comfy – a definite upgrade. A “padded insole” just isn’t the same. If I want to wear this look, I’ll definitely go for one of the cheaper versions. The ones with the buttons are cute and much more reasonably priced. Out of curiosity, how do the LIVS people feel about all of these other inexpensive versions? Do they feel they ripped them off as well?
