at the 17th Annual Hamptons International Film Festival

The RoC® Brand, the French skincare expert and pioneer in developing retinol, the gold-standard in anti-aging, is proud to announce their partnership with the Hamptons International Film Festival Women in Film Program for the second consecutive year.

RoC® Skincare continues to support the talent and creativity of women in film through the “Gold Standard Award for Female Feature Director,” by elevating the award to an official category of entry at this year’s 2009 festival. The winner will receive a $5,000 endowment to be used for an upcoming film project so that she can continue to enlighten audiences with her work. The Hamptons International Film Festival received an abundance of entries from many gifted women and RoC® Skincare is pleased to announce that this year’s award winner is Emmy Nominated Actress and Director, Cheryl Hines, for upcoming film, “Serious Moonlight.”

The RoC® Skincare “Gold Standard Award for Female Feature Director” aims to recognize a talented female filmmaker who’s excelled in the film industry, a field in which they are currently underrepresented, as only 7% of directors are women. The winner of this award is a true inspiration for women everywhere striving to meet their own personal gold standards in excellence.

I think it is great that RoC is honoring Cheryl Hines. She’s a wonderful lady who is very talented and very much deserves to win this award!
