But with a bit of good packing strategy you can meet your airline’s (undoubtedly stingy) weight limit on luggage, sail through security, and sashay on to your gate.  First, pick a color scheme and stick with it.  Try something classic, like black/ gray /red or brown/ cream /blue.  Since all of your pieces will work within your color scheme, you can mix and match with abandon, creating fresh ensembles out of the same items.
