New Tide Total Care…

So I know this post is going to probably end up being all “housewifey” and for that I apologize in advance. But there is a story to be told here… About a week or so ago I was at good old Target, picking up my household supplies. I needed to stock up on laundry detergent and I am fiercely loyal to Tide. It involves some silly story from probably two decades ago about a boy leaving a shirt at my house that smelled like Tide, whom I was dating at the time, and I loved the smell. Then as I stopped being so silly I realized that it seems to be the only thing that works. Our house is on a well – a well that I am beginning to think is an old crotchety well and if you have well water at your house (I am not a country bumpkin, just on a large lot) you know how *extremely* difficult it is to get clothes clean *every* time.

So back to Tide. I was perusing the isles of the store and Tide with Bleach Alternative, that I am basically a slave to, was all sold out! Disaster! So in desperation I reached for the new Tide Total Care (High Efficiency for me, please) and brought this little guy home.…

At first glance I was skeptical… the liquid was ORANGE. But let me tell you fellow housewives, you need to have this in your arsenal! The clothes came out smelling amazing… so amazing in fact that I was running errands with my husband and I could smell something so good in the car. I pulled my knees up in my seat and smelled them (yes, I am crazy) and it was my clothes! Some days I will wear a shirt the whole day through and it will still smell amazing at the end of the day – even though it is dirty! And my clothes are super soft, and not fake chemical soft, but just how they should feel. Soft like cotton, semi-soft like denim and soft-relaxed like khaki – all the fabrics really feel as they should.

So that is enough of my rattling on. Try it out or let me know what detergent do you use? Are you happy with your clothes afterward?
