Today’s Outfit: Camo Pants

Okay, so today I’m wearing these pleated camo pants I got on Victoria’s Secret website in July for only $14.99. Of course they aren’t on there now because they sold out, but there are similar new Fall styles on there like these cuff bottom utility pants.
I find VS sizes to be unreliable. I bought a similar pair, same London Jean brand, same material even, in a size 4 and they were a little too small. So I got these in a size 6 and they are quite big. They fit me more like a size 8. I’m not sure why, but it makes me leery of buying more pants from VS. Has anyone else had this problem?
These are cuffed pants, but I roll them up to give them more of a boyfriend style. I’m wearing them with my Indigo by Clarks “Tofu” Sandals so that I don’t look short and wide. lol I got these awesome and very comfortable sandals for only $39 during a Clarks Boutique on RueLaLa.com. Right now, they are on sale on Amazon.com for only $28.78
Anyway, this frumpy looking black shirt is actually my favorite shirt in the world. It’s a sleepwear shirt from Target and it’s the softest, most perfectly shaped shirt ever. It might look frumpy folded up, but it looks great on because the material is thin and it hangs just right. I love it!
I wasn’t sure what to wear for accessories, so I went with the Attitude Bracelet from Twisted Silver. It’s funky and light weight, so it’s a standby accessory of mine. I haven’t quite figured out how to rock the boyfriend style with camo pants, so any suggestions would be helpful! I didn’t know whether to go with a layered necklace to tone down the camouflage print or whether to play it up with a wide belt and some big hoops – Rihanna style. What do you think???

Since you asked for suggestions, here is what I’ve seen when wearing camo pants and I also own a pair.
I always wear camo pants with a solid color top (black or similar dark) as you do. I like seeing a black tank top with camo pants. I tend to keep jewelry minimal since the camo is a busy print but I do use one bold piece – mostly big hoop earrings but you can do a chunky cuff or twisted multiple leather strips that are formed into a bracelet. I would keep a necklace simple if you do wear one. I think what you chose is great – just a few additional ideas I mentioned to play around with.
