Review: SoftSpots ‘Paxton’ Suede Slip-On Wedges

The Softspots Paxton is my pick for the best suede slip-ons to invest in this season. I decided this based on style, comfort, value for the money, and versatility.

Style: These wedges are the perfect balance of style and comfort. They have a sturdy 11/2” wedge heel and a durable rubber sole for ultimate slip protection. I love this beautiful shade of burgundy with the pretty patent trim. Even those of you that are usually a fan of wedges, have to give these a chance. They are casual enough to wear to work or everyday, yet the shiny patent trim makes them easily dressed up for evening wear with a dress or a skirt.

Comfort: If you’ve never walked in Softspots shoes before, you don’t yet know the meaning of true comfort. Softspots Pillowtop™ technology provides everlasting comfort and support for your feet. Value: Their shoes range in price from $50 – $100 and their boots are usually between $100 – $150. The soft calfskin leathers and rich suedes are complimented by the beautiful patent leather binding. Couple that with the memory foam insole and these shoes are well worth the price. You’ll want to wear them over and over again because they will be the most comfortable shoes in your closet.

Versatility These particular shoes are nice because they look great with just about anything. You can see above that I’m wearing them with jeans, but you can also wear them with skirts, dresses, slacks and pant suits. The rich Aubergine color is perfect for Fall and goes great with a variety of neutral and jewel tones. Because they are so versatile, you will get more wear out of them than most shoes, making these a great value for the cost.
