Embellishments and hardware aren’t just for handbags anymore. While it’s mostly boots with buckles and buttons, I’m noticing lots of flats, pumps and Mary Janes are adding these cute vintage details as well, just in smaller scale.

This look can go one of 2 ways…. Tough hardware like oversized buckles and large buttons can add an edginess to your outfit and make your ensemble immediately more special. Or you can go for a more vintage feel with smaller buckles and little buttons and straps.
