Purple Shopping Spree At Newport News

Last week I went a little crazy shopping on NewportNews.com again… They had so many awesome things in in the clearance section and I found lots of purple! And you know I adore purple…
So here’s what I bought… all laid out on my futon…
1. Must-Have Stretch Denim Pencil Skirt
This skirt is AWESOME! And everyone knows it’s good to have a standby skirt in your wardrobe that you can default to wearing when you don’t want to wear jeans. This one is perfect. It fits great, is very flattering, just the right amount of stretch, AND…*drum roll*… it’s on sale for only $21.99. Yes ladies, you heard right. But you better got get it now before your size is sold out!
It’s pretty clear now that Wide Leg Jeans are another must-have for Fall, right? Ok, glad to hear you haven’t been under a rock for the past few months. Considering that, we had to get a pair for ourselves. This pair was on sale for only $17.99! They were originally $49.00, so that’s a pretty good deal.
3. Ruffle Trim Blouson Sweater
This top is SO CUTE and girly. I love it. You know sometimes things look different online then they do in person and you can end up disappointed. Luckily that wasn’t the case with this one. It’s even nicer in person than it is in the picture. I’m very happy with this purchase. And I should be since it was only $6.99!
If you wear an XS you’re in luck because that’s all there is left of the beautiful, rich blackberry color that I bought mine in. Yup, I took the last Medium. Sorry! I am glad I did because this is a great cami for layering. Very soft and fits perfect. Love it. And it was only $5.99.
This one wasn’t super cheap, but I am happy with it. I love the little bow detail on the shoulder and it comes in a beautiful, royal purple. It was $35.00 and is now on sale for $25.00. If purple isn’t your thing, don’t worry, it’s also available in other colors.
This is such a cute dress. I even found a belt at a thrift store for $2.99 that will go great with it. Yet another awesome purchase that I was totally happy with. Why wouldn’t I be since I only paid $12.99 for this dress? Wow! And it was originally $49.00. I’m telling you, Newport News is the bomb.
This little number is meant to be seen. No, not in a promiscuous way! You ever have a plunging neckline that showed your bra and so you go and put a cami on, but then it looks all bumpy under your clothes and it’s too hot. So you take it back off and you’re left with trying to hide your bra all day. Yeah okay, I might be the only one who’s done that, but I don’t have to anymore. This awesome little bralette looks like a cami underneath clothes, but it’s an underwire bra that actually supports! It’s great… And right now, they are on sale for only $10.00. It’s available in lots of colors too, so buy a couple!

Right before I had to go to Vegas for a training Seminar (not nearly as much fun as it sounds .. I’m EXHAUSTED!!!) I took a trip to Kohl’s and hit their clearance racks .. some very very cute things for 60-80% off their original prices … I even got a great Ralph Lauren dress for 20$!!! And a Vera Wang shift dress for like 16$ .. WOWZA! If you wear small sizes you’ll find a ton of bargains … and even the fuller figures have some cute clothing choices. I stick to a palette I know flatters me, styles that are great for Mix and Match, and that wardrobe lasts a couple of years and still looks fresh (as long as my washing machine doesn’t break down!
… Envy you the ability to wear purple… love the color but it makes me look like a walking bruise unless I have a killer tan .. which is usually compliments of a spendy bottle of “glow”
