What: Ju Ju Be BeLight Diaper Bag
This is the diaper bag I use everyday. I have other diaper bags, but this one quickly became my favorite because it’s so light weight that I can stuff all I need in it and it’s still easy to carry, unlike other bags that weigh a ton even when they’re empty. Plus this bag has just the right amount of pockets so you can easily find what you’re looking for.
I carry 3 diapers in the left outside pocket, a compact container of wipes in the right outside pocket, the matching changing pad (included!) in the back pocket with my pink Razr cell phone, and everything else in the main center pocket. What: Nosefrida Baby Nasal Aspirator
With cold season coming along pretty quick, you better take the time to read this. First off, we’ll admit, this might freak a few moms out at first. But if you’ve ever had to stay up all night long with a stuffy baby you’re probably willing to give anything a try at least once, right?
This little contraption that moms from Sweden swear by, is the answer to all your stuffy baby problems. Just place one end of the aspirator against your baby’s nostril and then suck the other end to remove the mucous from your baby’s nose. I know it sounds yucky, but don’t worry, there’s a little filter in it so you’ll never have to come in contact with the boogers.
For us, it was a godsend. I can’t believe I got through the first year of my daughter’s life without this thing. Admittedly, I wished there was some way to suck the boogers out of her nose when she was stuffy. Ordinary nasal aspirations (booger bulbs) just don’t work at ALL. This little Nosefrida, on the other hand, works every single time without fail. You have to try it!

My sister’s kids wear pediped footwear and they are GREAT shoes and the kids love them!
Now, I don’t know about the nose sucker. That’s pushing it.
The latest ‘must have’…an orange coat! Sometimes bright pumpkin, sometimes darker candied yam…fun photos from lots of designers, and retro inspiration of Audrey Hepburn’s orange coats from both Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Charades movies.
I would not recommend buying car-seat covers from anyone but the manufacturer. They are not tested on the car-seats they are used for, and could nix the warantee (as well as compromising the safety of the seat).
You can get a new cover from most manufacturers..and really, what is thrifty about buying a 120$ car-seat cover anyways? For that price, you could get a new seat!
Thanks for the tip about the nasal aspirator. My husband and I have been growing concerned because with the coming cold season, all of us are waking up with a stuffy nose. Many times, my husband and I will wake up because we hear our daughter breathing loudly. We find it difficult to get the boogers out when they are dry so we have been running a humidifier constantly. Getting the boogers out with the buld suction has been a concern, because she is so restless. Hopefully this will work better.
