Nursing Covers: Milk Mumu

Last month I posted 2 nursing cover reviews. I meant to write this one up before the end of the month, but that didn’t happen. So here is my final nursing cover review, a little late!
The third cover I reviewed was from “Milk Mumu”.

Breastfeeding is one of the greatest gifts you can give to your baby. But many mothers get frustrated due to the difficulty in trying to nurse in public.

We all have horror stories of having blankets pulled off, nursing in a dirty bathroom stall, or trying to race home with a hungry and hysterical baby. Having a nursing cover will allow you the freedom to breastfeed whenever you need to, wherever you need to, without compromising your modesty.

Milk Mumu’s Slogan:

“Anyone can make a nursing cover,
but we make nursing classy!”

My Review:

The Milk Mumu was definitely the best nursing cover I have had the opportunity to use and review. They are similar to the Bebe au Lait nursing covers, but better.

The strap that goes around your neck is thinner and more flexible, which I found was more comfortable. The rigid neckline on the Milk Mumu is similar to the one on the Bebe au Lait cover, but less stiff and easier to manage. The Milk Mumu was also slightly smaller in width and length, which made it much easier to maneuver into the correct position. I also liked the terry cloth pocket in the corner better than the one on the Bebe au Lait nursing cover.

Overall, the Milk Mumu has become my favorite nursing cover and it now resides in my diaper bag at all times. I definitely recommend the Milk Mumu to any nursing mother that wants to cover up and stay fashionable.

You can purchase Milk Mumu nursing covers on their website as well as in their eBay store.

    Hurray for all nursing mommies.

Actually, we don’t all have stories about dirty bathroom stalls. I nursed all my children, very discreetly, in all public places, by pulling up shirts from the bottom. Nothing screams “I’m nursing over here!” than a cover or a blanket over the shoulder. Such accessories are fine, but I wouldn’t want a pregnant mom to think this is another gadget she has to have.

a blanket is really all anyone needs to nurse in public and feel discreet. it’s really not that big of an issue. i nursed three children for 15 months each child… i have no nursing blanket regrets. :)

I nursed my son for 3 years and my daughter for 2 years and I couldn’t have lived without my nursing cover.

Blankets keep falling off, they are clumsy and above all, really ugly! I loved my nursing cover and I recommend them to all moms!

I nursed my daughter for 3 years, and my daughter always wanted to be able to see me and would cry and struggle if she couldn’t see my face. Blankets and covers never managed to cover me well enough. I made my own nursing cover which was more of a nursing shawl and covered 360 degrees, but had a larger neck-hole so we could see each other, but nobody else could see anything. This would never have worked for us.
