OMG...How funny...I felt the same way when I purchased my Crocs Havanas for my trip in July to Paris/Monte Carlo. I got a pair in Navy Blue and wanted them for walking in the museums and on the beach. Loved the heel...Here is my word of advise - The only problem I had was I got blisters right at the base of both big toes. It is where the foot gets the most pressure from the heel height. The moisture, pressure and friction (the little nubby things) were just too much for a day in Paris. Not sure how to prevent but be warned....
I still love them and have renamed them (My cute rubber shoes) and I am still a CROCS hater.
Have fun in Mexico!
