Facial Hair Removal: Cheap, Easy And Comfortable

cheeksIn my teen years, I struggled with unwanted facial hair. And although it was just peach fuzz, very light in color, it really bothered me. I didn’t try doing anything about it until I was in my 20′s though. Tweezing was too painful and took too long, so I ended up waxing, which was very painful and left me less than satisfied with the results. I used to wax my facial hair with Veet Ready To Use Wax Stripsicon, which aren’t bad if you can lock yourself inside the house for 24 hours afterwards so your face can recuperate. I can’t tell you how many times I couldn’t leave the house after a facial waxing session…

I NEVER have that problem with “My Spring It” It’s a spring bar facial hair remover that is easy to use, cost effective, and relatively comfortable.

“My Spring It” is designed to remove the hair from the roots exactly like facial threading. It’s a spring with handles on each end. Bend it so that is makes a U shape and then roll it on your skin where the hair is. As it rolls, it grabs and plucks out the hairs by the roots. Sounds painful, I know, but trust me when I say that it’s a lot less painful than waxing and more than 2x as effective.

It might take you a few minutes to use it the first time… You’ll have to get used to handling it and the sensation when the hair is pulled out. If you are nervous about the pain factor, you have 2 options.

    1. Wash your face with warm/hot water first to help soften skin and enlarge pores so the hairs come out easier. Or…
    2. Wash your face with cold water or rub the area with an ice cube to numb it up a bit before you start.

I tried Orajel and that totally doesn’t work! lol It was a nice thought though…

Because you are pulling the hair out from the root, it won’t grow any darker or thicker like when you shave. (Please don’t shave your facial hair EVER unless you’re a dude!) Another huge benefit to using something like “My Spring It”, is your skin is not subjected to chemicals or burns like when you wax. Getting your facial hair removed with a waxing treatment usually costs around $40 per treatment and you need to go every 4-6 weeks. “My Spring It” can be used for around 12 months before needing to be replaced and it only costs about $15. The savings are obvious.

Best of all, “My Spring It” is very small and doesn’t need any battery or electricity, so you can add it to your make up bag and take it with you everywhere! Personally, I just use mine while I’m reading blogs in the morning or watching TV at night.

You can use “My Spring It” on cheeks, chin and upper lip hair, also great for fine hair and peach fuzz! (like facial hair threading or threading hair removal). Once you get the hang of it, you’ll be so pleased with this product.
