Unless you live under a rock, you probably know by now that I’m pretty much the unofficial spokesperson for the original CoverGirl LashBlast Mascara. It’s my absolute favorite mascara in the whole world. I wear it every single day and I go through at least 4 tubes a year. I’m a total LashBlast addict. Nothing else measures up in my opinion. Plus, you can’t beat the price! (around $6!)

My other favorite mascara is CoverGirl LashBlast Luxe Mascara in Black Cabernet. The Luxe line has a bit of a shimmer to it, that makes it perfect for evening or with makeup looks that feature the eyes.

The new CoverGirl LashBlast Length Mascara contains nylon for lashes that are 80 percent longer and they won’t flake or break all day. While I love the new formula, I’m not crazy about the brush. I feel that the brush is too long and not stiff enough… I like the somewhat bulky design of the container for the original LashBlast. The new slim design of the LashBlast Length makes application a little more tedious.

The mind-blowing formula makes up for this though… This mascara definitely makes my eyelashes longer than the original formula, but not as thick and bold. It leaves your lashes with a very long, dramatic and yet totally feminine look. I highly encourage you to pick up a tube and try it out asap!
