FHI Heat Brushes Are Sent From Heaven!

Posted By: The Fashionable Housewife on August 15, 2008 at 5:02 am

Think that it’s just shampoo and hair spray that makes for a good hairday? Think again!

The new FHI Heat Professional brushes are miracle workers! They come in three styles (Paddle, Cushion and Round) and each are available in two sizes. I’ve been trying out big brushes and I LOVE them! I mean, you would think that a brush is a brush and as long as it gets your hair untangled, then great. But you wouldn’t believe the difference of brushing your hair with one of these as appose to a $2 Walmart brush. HUGE difference!

The round brush is seriously sent by God. I have a horrible hair cut right now and I don’t have time to go get it thinned, trimmed, and re-layered. No amount of hair spray, gel, or styling mousse works quite as good as this brush and a good blow dryer. It completely smooths out frizz and kinks and lets me add loads of sexy volume.

Recipe for a perfect Katie Holmes hairstyle: Use this brush and some Sexy Hair Root Pump Spray Mousseicon. Works great! I’ve also heard great things about FHI Heat “Hot Sauce”.

The Cushion brush has curved corners, so it’s perfect for maneuvering and finishing off your hairstyle. If you just want to gently flip the ends under (or out) this brush is what you’re looking for. Just style with a blow dryer and finish off with a great holding spray like Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine Hairsprayicon.

I use the Paddle brush for de-tangling my hair after I get out of the shower. Or for brushing my hair out of it’s style before I get into the shower to begin again. It’s also great for creating straight styles without all the poofy nonsense. It works really good to blow-dry hair into a straight style and if you have long hair, you’re gonna love this one! My hair was down to my lower back while I was pregnant and this brush would have been a godsend.

All the brushes retail for about $20 and they are worth every penny. I would probably pay up to $50 for that round brush. It really performs miracles!
