In case you haven’t noticed, Current Elliot is the “it” brand for denim right now. Their slouchy laid back boyfriend jeans are on celebrities and fashionistas alike, making these the must-have jeans for 2009.

Emily Current and Merritt Elliott, a pair of LA stylists-turned-designers, launched a new line of chic, desirable denim. They self-advertised their new digs at photo shoots and soon, everyone wanted a pair of the looser, cooler jeans. The Current Elliott label received praise from Vogue magazine’s July issue in citing it as “the most refreshing denim line to come out of LA’s jean scene in a long, long time.”

I love my CE Jeans, but be warned they run about 1-2 sizes big. I usually wear size 27, got my C/E jeans in a 27 and they are huge! I can’t even keep them on my hips anymore. (I lost more weight.) I recommend getting 2 sizes smaller than your normal size, unless you want a baggy fit, get 1 size smaller.
