Loving Reebok’s New EasyTone Sneakers

I’ve been wearing Reebok’s EasyTone Sneakers since May. I almost forgot to follow up my first post and tell you how much I love them!
I wore them almost every day for 2 weeks. Then we had like 6 weeks of rain with almost no break, so that put a kink in my walking routine. Thankfully, I’ve been able to go out walking again a few times in the past 2 weeks and it’s reminded me how great these sneakers actually work!
Just a few hours of wearing them and you begin to feel muscles working that you didn’t even know you had. When I was wearing them almost everyday for 2 weeks, I really noticed a difference in the way my legs looked and felt. Normally I don’t feel a 2 mile walk the next day, but with these sneakers on, my legs were burning the next day. Not an oh-my-god-i’m-going-to-die sort of burning, but definitely noticeable muscle activity that usually isn’t there.
I would compare these to MBT sneakers because the benefits you get are similar. Reebok’s EasyTone Sneakers
give you the same kind of benefits as MBT sneakers
for like half the price.
These sneakers are great for people who walk everyday, so they can get the most out of their walk. But they are even better for people who don’t get to walk a lot (like me) so you can tone and strengthen your legs a lot faster than you’d be able to with normal sneakers. If you aren’t into wearing sneakers, FitFlops make a great alternative.

Hi ladies,
my husband offered me these shoes for my birthday as a suprised. After exchanging them for they were a little too big, I still feel the heels to be loose when I walk. I never had Reebok shoes before, always wore Nike, so I would like to know if this is normal of not. However in order to feel the shoes not that loose I have to tie the laces so tight that it is very uncomfortable. I guess my feet are not made for this brand. I only tried them at home for I would like to be able to bring them back if they don’t fit me. Anyone experiencing the same problem?
I agree! These shoes rub my ankles and I thought tightening the laces would improve the fit. However, this causes my toes to go numb. I have to wear extra thick socks to cover my ankles and then just deal with the numb toes…this is frustrating!
Hi,
I bought these shoes a couple days ago. the biggest selling point for me was the cushionie feeling. I have high arches and do best with heavily cushioned shoes.
anyway, my question is has anyone expierenced pain in along the sides of their heels when using these shoes? I walked on a treadmill for about an hour the first day i had them and now (2 days later) have a strained like sensation on the inside sides of my heels. my husband said he thinks its musles stregnthing, but i dont want to injure myself. i have a lot of weight to lose and need good shoes to get going.
any information is greatly appreciated!
Mary
Your feet are probably hurting because we are used to wearing shoes that fully support us like a cast. This in turn does not allow the muscles in your feet to strengthen. These shoes make you work harder. The balls on the shoes make you consciously keep your balance, therefore, toning your muscles. Your feet just need to strengthen and then they should be fine. Your feet have muscles, tendons, and ligament just like every other part of your body. If you haven’t done sit ups in years and then do sit ups, you’re going to be very sore because your muscles are not in shape….same goes for your feet.
Soooo, anyone notice a difference in the butt? Again, keep hearing good things about the legs, but other then the ads they put out, I’ve heard nothing. Can I get a consumer yay or nay?
I bought the EasyTones this past Monday and wore them a little bit each day to break them in (thinking that’s why I was feeling pain in my feet). I was so excited I called my friend up to join me in my big walk today. Oh my goodness! I have never experienced pain like this ever before. I’m an avid walker and consider myself in shape so it wasn’t as though this was my first walk. I was miles away from my house and had to turn around and find that quickest way back. My toes went numb first and it felt like pins and needles followed by a burning sensation on the balls of my feet. I was completely embarassed and felt bad that I was ruining my friend’s workout as well. We headed home and the second I was in sight of my house I took the shoes off and walked the rest of the way in my socks. I have been wearing slippers the rest of the day to try to rest my feet. I’m calling Reebok to see what they can do. There’s no way I would ever put these shoes back on. I highly recommend NOT buying these.
I’m thinking about purchasing either these or the Sketchers, but with the costs I am a little worried. I cannot afford to spend $100 on a pair of sneakers and I can’t wear because of burning or injury to my poor feet. I am fat and have fat feet. Any suggestions? Would these work for me? I am more worried about the comfort. i am sooo picky when it comes to sneakers and desprately need a new pair. I am trying to do some research before hand. Please help!!
I gotta tell you my easytones, broke. Yea, broke. The top bump on my right shoe cracked and now the bump is flat. I understand I wore them everyday for a few hours in the evenings since Christmas, but I think $125.00 sneakers should hold up a bit longer then 6 months. I have written the company and will keep you informed of their response.
I got a pair of the easytones and have been wearing them regularly to walk with and without the dog. I love them, the only issue I have is that in my left foot I get a “going to fall asleep” numb, tingle from my toes to about the middle of the foot AND its only the left foot! I’m going to call the 1800 number and see what they said. I do not want to return for a refund as I’m more happy with them, then not.
Just called the 800 # and John got testy when I kept asking if anyone else had problems. Personally, he said, no one has complained to him and he wasn’t aware of any issues. Finally, he gave me an return authorization # to return and be able to get other sneakers to replace these Easy Tones. Again, these sneakers have caused my achilles tendons to swell and become very tender. I’m in physical therapy several times a week now.
