Get Some Sun Without The Sunburn

Summer is finally here in the North East and I’m loving the sunshine! However, I was so deprived of Vitamin D that I ran outside without sunblock and got a sunburn in about 20 minutes… My poor milky complexion is so sensitive and it hadn’t seen any sun since last Summer, just about!
For the last week or so, we’ve had 4 or 5 beautiful days of sunshine, and I’ve been applying sunblock everyday. I’ve been using Erno Laszlo’s Total Face & Body Protection SPF 30.
It’s a lightweight, daily moisturizing cream packed with powerful antioxidants and broad spectrum sun protection. I know there are a lot of good everyday sunblocks out there but if you are an endurance athlete like me who needs a higher standard of water and sweatproofing I recommend Hawaiian Island Creations 2X Sunblock by Outside Labs. I was very skeptical about their “Won’t Run Into Eyes” claim because every other product I have used in the past when I have gone on a run, worked out at the beach, or even went for a swim always gets into my eyes and burns the you-know-what out of them. I think its so much healthier and easier to fake tan, for me anyway! I have freckles and when I get a tan I look great but the process to get one is pretty difficult, so being sprayed an all over golden tan is just great and amkes me look healthy and happy!;-)
