As women, we don’t want to get older. Waking up and seeing yet another wrinkle on our face can get really depressing. Wearing too much makeup is not a good way to combat signs of aging though. If you have wrinkles around your lips, be careful with lip liner. Lip liner can accentuate lines around the mouth, especially if you wear dark lip liner. Choose a light pink lipliner and apply carefully, always following your natural lip liner.
The biggest beauty mistake you can make is wearing lip liner that is darker than your lipstick or your natural lip color. Think about what happens when your lipstick wears off and your lip liner is still there. Not a pretty picture! As we age, our lips lose moisture and lipstick might not stay put like it used to. Opt for a long-lasting lipcolor. Many companies these days have addressed the need for lipstick that lasts more than a few hours and this is especially handy for middle aged women with dryer lips. Don’t use bright, dark, metallic or iridescent shades. Instead go for a warm rose color and clear gloss on top.
