One of our fabulous readers has submitted several photos of her awesome knock-offs of the famous Extreme Gladiators!

Brenda says:

“I just wanted to show the girls the difference in the shoes. Honestly, in terms of comfort and overall appearance in person the Madalynn looks like a much better quality shoe. Although, I’ll keep the natural Maddie’s they aren’t my favorite (the snake skin is too hot to pass up though). Excuse my toes… I need a pedicure! HA! I must mention in the pictures (I guess because of the patent leather) the Maddie’s look better to me but in person its not the case. What do you think?”

So tell us, what do you think?!

    drea says:

oh dayum the madalynns do look better, lol. I think i like the maddiee’s in pl, but i would rather then in leather…now the snakeskin maddiee’s is the bizness.

The only real problem i had with the madalynns is the way that the heel came down, i felt like i was standing awkwardly (if that make sense)

Brneda thank you so much for all of your comparassion shots..so are you keeping all of them?

    Amethyst says:

I can’t decide because I really do like them all & you can’t tell the difference !!! Just an observation & for the wearer’s sake, in the first photo, the sandals don’t look like they fit her properly because of the toe overhang. She should go a half size up.

    Brenda says:

Drea – I’m keeping the black (and maybe the brown since my husband likes them better) Madalynn’s and the snake Maddie’s. I didn’t like the patent leather look at all.

Amethyst – I did try the half size bigger and my toes hung over even more. I mentioned before that the Maddie’s did slide my feet forward. All the half size bigger do was give me an even bigger gap in the back and the sides.

    Valerie says:

Your toes are hanging over. Not good:(

    Brenda says:

Valerie – Duly noted and that is the EXACT reason they are going back. HA!

    drea says:

well Brenda i finally got a hold of the black candice…and i think they will go back..and order the tan online (i put black and tan on hold, when i got out there she said they didnt have tan wtf?).. I need some cute tan sandals anyway!

  8. 8
    Brenda says:

Drea – EEEEK, they weren’t cute? Are you getting the Steve Madden’s at all? I’m taking the Maddee’s back but only in the black. I’m keeping the snake and the Madalynn’s both black and brown. Hee-hee-hee.

    drea says:

lol, my friends were like i cant believe you went thru all of that to take them back! no ima pass on the maddens and just get the tan candices. but i will get the guess delicacy in black..now them are hot!

  10. 10
    Brenda says:

drea – u r 2 funny, Girl!!! The delicacy is very similiar to a pair of Nine West’s that I already have (only mine don’t have the buckle detail on the bottom two straps), I do like them in the brown, though. Send me pictures when they’re on your feet, Girl. I’ll tell you the ones that I loved more than even the Madden’s was the Guess…. well, now Dillard’s doesn’t have them and neither does Guess but they were similiar to the Eudora’s (but hotter) but they didn’t fit my feet well. The sales clerk said because I needed a higher instep. I ended up buying the Expected just because.

  11. 11
    drea says:

brenda, i will check those out..are they both guess? we dont have a dillards here (seattle) did they have them on the website?

  12. 12
    Brenda says:

drea, yes Guess by Marciano, if I get out to the mall here I’ll see if they still have them and get the name for you. Nope, not on the Dillard’s or Guess website. I’m thinking they’re sold out but I’ll find a link somewhere.

  13. 13
    Brenda says:

    Drea – I told you I’d find them…. here you go… http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/2968283?Category=&Search=True&SearchType=keywordsearch&keyword=guess+in+Women%27s+Shoes&origin=searchresults
now the pictures don’t do these shoes justice. They are awesome on, I promise. The strap that goes across the foot isn’t adjustable and that’s where I ran into problems but I love the shoe.

    katya says:

i prefer the brown ones but the snake skin ones are also great, i would buy them both, i just bought a pair from ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=290251362663&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=019 can’t wait till they get here they are sooooo gorgeous.

    milly says:

I don’t like the black patent one….do like the brown, but loving the snakeskin…me wants!! :)

    ModernGearTV says:

The snakeskin ones make me a bit weak-kneed. SO GORGEOUS!!

  17. 17
    drea says:

brenda those are cute..i have been seein that style in a lot of brands

well i gave up on the stevemadden and the bakers when i saw the merits in cognac..but of course they ran out of my size!

i did however score the guess lace up gladiators: freyja (black) for 22.00!

  18. 18
    Brenda says:

Drea- good for you! I have been on a shoe mission! Girl, I have bought pair after pair after pair! LOL

    winnie says:
