Fashionable Overalls? Is It An Oxymoron?!

I recently spotted this outfit in a Neiman Marcus ad and I fell in love with the carefree, yet fashionable look of this ensemble. I had no idea that what she was really wearing under that fabulous boyfriend blazer was actually a pair of OVERALLS!

Can overalls actually be fashionable? Is it humanly possible? Isn’t fashionable overalls like an oxymoron?

I don’t know… you tell me!

Elizabeth and James Freddie Overalls

I actually think these Elizabeth and James Freddie Overalls are pretty chic! (Oh my gosh, I never thought I would say that about overalls…)

I don’t think the jacket is essential since you could really wear just about any black blazer to get the same look. However, this is a really pretty and unique blazer…

What do you think of the outfit from the Neiman Marcus ad? What do you think about the overalls? Yay or nay?

I think they look cute on the models, but I could never pull them off. Although, I’m embarrassed to say I used to wear overalls in the 90s. For some reason I had these jeans overalls shorts that I thought were so trendy at the time, but they are just hideous when I think about them now! I don’t know what I was thinking. My friend had them too!

I think it’s cute, on the model… I don’t think generally anyone over elementary school age should wear overalls. Thought I did in the 90′s well into highschool.

Seriously overalls belong under 1 category sick! They deserve to be left in the days of Kris kross and early will smith. I will never understand why designers try to rehatch styles. Like the harem pants or also known as parachute pants. Not everything deserves a comeback.
