Yellow is such a warm happy color, it’s hard not to be happy when you’re wearing a cute yellow dress because it’s just makes you feel all sunshiny inside. Wearing a bright yellow dress might not be your taste though… I myself tend to shy away from bright colors and that seems to be the keyword for Summer 2009! Yellow is fun, but it has to be worn with caution due to the fact that its very eye-catching!
So I decided maybe I would start with adding a pair of yellow shoes to my collection… But I didn’t want just any old yellow shoes. I wanted to find something unique… A real statement making shoe. Maybe patent leather? Perhaps some studs, since that also seems to be a hot trend right now too…
I didn’t want to make any rash decisions, so I spent a few weeks just keeping my eyes peeled for the right pair. Well last week, I was browsing on SmartBargains.com for handbags and somehow ended up looking at shoes…

So I bought them right then and there. I mean, for that price, you just can’t go wrong!! You see, Smart Bargains periodically has these random and totally awesome sales for relatively no reason at all and if you’re on top of it, you can save a lot of money! Like this morning, I got an email from them offering a 12 hour email exclusive sale of an extra 20% off 200+ new arrivals. And I’ve noticed, the more I buy from them, the more bargains they give them. Now that’s smart!
I ordered them on 5/27, they shipped on 5/30 and I received them on 6/3 – almost 6 days before I expected them to arrive! I put them on right away and was so pleased. They really are a funky pair of shoes, I must say, but they are exactly what I was looking for!
I have to disagree with one of the reviews for these shoes that was left on SmartBargains.com. One person said that these shoes “weren’t designed to be comfortable”. While yes, the heel and platform is real wood, the inner lining is made of a bouncy rubber material that I find to be quite comfortable. The wide straps keep the shoes on while you’re walking and I didn’t find that any part of the shoe dug into my foot or anything. These are probably the most comfortable high heels I’ve ever owned. After wearing them once, I would definitely feel confident enough to wear them all day without bringing back-up shoes.

Ok…SO I wanna get these shoes. I am a 6.5 but they only come in 6 and 7. what should I get? Help ASAP as there are only 12 pairs left!
