Okay so I got my Jeffrey Campbell Mel from Solestruck.com last week, but wanted to wait to post about them till I got a pictures of these lovely babies on my feet!!
They are every bit as delightful as I hoped they would be. I mean, seriously, just look at these shoes….

I twittered about how I would take pics and let everyone know if these high heels were actually comfortable, and to my surprise, a lot of you were dying to know! Well, you’ll all be happy to hear that they are indeed comfortable. I mean, they’re certainly not FitFlops or anything, but for high heels (33/4” heels to be exact) they are surprisingly comfortable. The 1″ platform makes them easy to walk in and the footbed is actually cushioned (unlike the Steve Madden replicas).

I don’t have much for a heel and my ankles are pretty big from years of professional ballet dancing and wearing pointe shoes, so I found these shoes weren’t exactly made for my feet.

They aren’t unwearable or uncomfortable though. You can just tell from looking at the pic on the left (click to enlarge) that they would look better if I had slimmer ankles and a bigger heel. My feet are not normal though, so I think these shoes would work for most women.

My husband lovingly volunteered to take photos of me wearing the crystal and studded shoes so you could see them with an actual outfit…

I tried to go for a 50′s Glam type outfit. How did I do? Keep in mind that I’m only 5’3″!! I know these shoes would look even better on a girl with long legs. I do like the added height they give me though. I don’t feel short and fat when I’m wearing them. hehe

In short, I think these shoes are pretty freaking fabulous. I am definitely glad I purchased them before they were sold out and I know I will absolutely wear them more than once.

jeffrey-campbell-shoes-mel-black-leather-010604You need to get a pair of Jeffrey Campbell Mel’s for yourself before they are all sold out.

Solestruck’s website says that this is their absolute last shipment of the Mel’s and you need to get them quick! Last I checked, they only had size 7, 7.5 and 8 left. They will set you back $164.95 but they are sooooo worth it!!

Have big feet? Get them on Singer22.com because they have sizes 9, 9.5 and 10 still in stock! However, they cost $195.00 on Singer22.com!

If you’ve seen them some place else, leave a comment and let me know!
