New Creamy Ultra Color Rich Extra Plump Lipstick from Avon

Avon just introduced their brand new Ultra Color Rich Extra Plump Lipstick. It promises lips will go pleasantly plump and feel tingly all over. Yet, the formula is nonfeathering and has a center core packed with plumping power & hydrating moisturizers.

So it’s a lip plumping lipstick. That’s different! Usually you expect lip plumpers to come in gloss form…

I tried shade #H06 “Plump Pink”, a rosey pink color that is perfect for Spring and Summer. You can see the moisturizing center and the creamy color on the outside…

It glides on wonderfully and leaves a creamy, conditioned feeling to my lips. If you’ve ever used a plumping products, you’re familiar with the stinging bite that makes your lips tingle a bit. The tingling sensation from this lipstick was very mild. I didn’t even feel it the first time, but I figured out that was from using Laura Geller Lip Strip Cooling Sugar Scrub on my lips first. It must have coated them so that the plumping ingredients didn’t sock it… So I decided to try it again several hours later and this time, I can definitely feel the tingling. It’s very mild, but it’s there.

The highly pigmented color left my lips looking very nice, but I did not notice any plumping effect… I would have been completely satisfied with this product if they left the word “plump” out of the name of this lipstick… because I expected some plumping effects.

If you can get past the “extra plump” that doesn’t really happen, this is actually a really nice lipstick. I would absolutely buy this one again and would recommend just because of the excellent colors and the rich moi
