I did a great deal of research on this for my book and most doctors I spoke to agreed your bra will NOT give you cancer. The underwire conversation is very interesting though, as well as the melatonin discussion. The most important thing is to find a bra that you are comfortable in - comfortable meaning snug (you should be able to fit two fingers underneath the band) and flush against your body, all the way around.
