I’m currently 38 weeks pregnant, due April 24th, and sooooo done being pregnant! I’m to the super-fun and ever popular stage of pregnancy that features water retention, swollen cankles, roller coaster emotions and a sore lower back. Oh yes, let’s not forget the walking with a grapefruit between your legs part too. Super fun…
It takes a LOT for me to feel pretty these days. When I don’t feel confident, it negatively affects just about every other aspect of my day and life. It’s hard to have a positive outlook and keep your eye on the prize (new baby!) when you feel like absolute garbage. This month, of course, has been the hardest as far as pregnancy goes, but I know it’s because I’m getting towards the end of this difficult time. Even though it really sucks and I’m super miserable right now, I know it’s a fleeting moment in my life and I would still do it again.
For these hard days, cute maternity dresses are the way to go. I don’t think I’ve worn pants in two weeks. Pants are so overrated.
I snagged this ASOS Maternity Bodycon Dress for $10.00. Legit. They only had one size left (US 10) which honestly is a little too big for me, but I don’t even care because the side bow detail and the gathered bodice are so cute!
While I was on the ASOS website, I decided to look at their sale section and stumbled upon a couple other maternity dresses that I fell in love with and to my surprise, they were all under $20.
I grabbed this teal Mamalicious dress for $12.00 and a ASOS Maternity PETITE Twist Knot Front Sleeveless Bodycon Dress for $18.50 that hopefully, I will wear this weekend for Easter.
I was amazed that I was able to get THREE dresses for like $40. Even if I only get to wear them each one time, it still seems worth it. I will most likely hang on to them for future pregnancies or share them with my pregnant bestie.
