I was fortunate enough to be able to try some products from Darac and I must say, I am very impressed. All of their products are extremely professional and high quality. By far, my favorite product is the TourQuam Luxe powder brush.

I have a variety of brushes in my makeup bag and I’ve never been impressed with Bare Escentuals, which is what people usually tell me is their favorite. I have the Bare Escentuals Flawless Application Face Brush and the Full Coverage Kabuki Brush and I find the bristles to be stiff and picky, not to mention the uneven application. I’ll tell you, once you use a good powder brush, you know the difference.

Up until now, my weapon of choice has been the Eco Tools Powder Brush which is super soft against skin and works fairly well at spreading powder. But it’s on the small side… It’s more like a large blush brush in size. The TourQuam is about 3x the size which provides even, flawless application.

The TourQuam Luxe is the softest, smoothest, most luxurious thing that has ever touched my skin. Have you ever felt chinchilla fur? Well, it’s softer than that…

First time using it, I used it to apply Bare Escentuals bareMinerals SPF 15 Foundation, which I didn’t particularly like. But I decided to give it a try because I knew it had iron oxide in it which would hopefully work well with the magnets in the brush. Well, not only did the brush apply the powder evenly and smoothly, but the coverage was so great that I couldn’t even believe it was the same powder. Applying it with the Bare Escentuals brushes all these years left me unhappy with the results, but using the TourQuam brush to apply it was like I had never used that powder before… Suddenly, I liked it!

I could go on and on, but in short, this brush is absolutely amazing. Here’s the thing… it costs $75. I know that sounds insane for a powder brush, but I tell you this thing works!! If it’s worth it to you to finally get the powder application and coverage you desire, than I would highly recommend you get this. Especially if you have expensive powders that you are disapointed with… Trust me if you use them with this brush, you’ll be a whole lot happier!

Now I know some of you will yell at me if i don’t give you an alternative, so here it is… The only thing I could possibly recommend as a runner up would be the Eco Tools Powder Brush only because it’s just as soft and totally affordable at only $8.99. I just wish it were bigger… that might make it work a bit better. It’s the only other brush I know of that delivers fairly good results and is just as soft as the TourQuam Luxe brush.
