When I'm tired of wearing my usual colours (dark reds, black, indigo, etc...) I love to brighten my tips & toes with a coral colour - Essie/OPI/Nicole all have lovely corals - Deborah Lippman has 3 that I love - It's DeLovely, P.Y.T and DayTripper (DT has a shimmer which is lovely in the summer sun). Also investigate Butter London's MacBeth & Jaffa...gorgeous colours that are free of Toulene, Formaldehyde and DBP!

I went and got my nails done today and like you, I'm a total short/squared off girl. And coincidentally, I got both my nails and toes done with OPI 'Do You Lilac It?' and I have to say, I absolutely LOVE it! You should definitely try it! It's fun, flirty, feminine, and totally springy!

My go to fave is always Lincoln Park After Dark. But if you want something a little lighter, I think lilac is a great way to go this season. I am also loving a Jade color by OPI I saw in this month's In Style (with Gwen Stefani on it). Another fave right now is Chanel in Particulere (sp.) OPI has a more affordable alternative.
