That infamous green scarf is what Patricia Field calls the “key piece” in the movie. “I thought, ‘What am I going to do for a scarf that’s special but cool?’” says Field. “And I remembered a scarf from Dolce & Gabbana from years ago and they sent me the original sample.” And that was the inspiration for the crinkled kelly green scarf.
Of course, she also anticipated that every woman in the world would want one after seeing the movie too, so she is now selling it on her website. (She blogged about it too!)

I love fashion but not as much as Isla Fisher in the movie. I can’t see getting in that much debt over clothes and looking good. In these times especially. In chico there is not much to get into debt over though! We have a cute downtown with a few great store and one in particular Olive Couture, hence my scren name! I’ve decided that for a small town girl, the styles out there are either too outrageous or too expensive so the shopping we do have is perfect for me. I love SKY clothes line, only carried in MY favorite store in Chico, CA. They are on line too though which makes it really easy to see what they have in stock like if i;m sick or something. Hey! I saw the movie twice, and I really fell in love with this awesome green scarf, too. I also went on patriciafield.com, and I wrote her on facebook, she said that she’ll have it soon, but that was a month ago, and she still doesn’t have it!!!

the green scarf is from m&s limited collection but i have a light blue one from dolce and gabbana which is better and they do one in every shade!!!
I found the scarf! It’s the exact same green, the pleating, the soft pretty chiffon. It’s gorgeous and regular price only $24!!! I have to find the website again but no fear girls, I’ll connect you to the coveted scarf within a day or 2. I’m so excited!
