Product Review: Yes to Carrots Intense Repair Hand Cream + Body Lotion

Recently, I had the opportunity to try both the Yes to Carrots Intense Repair Hand Cream and Yes to Carrots Intense Repair Body Lotion. My skin has always been dry, but since moving to an even more arid climate my old lotions haven’t been cutting it – that’s why I was so excited to test these out! Yes to Carrots Intense Repair Hand Cream 

First Impressions

This hand lotion is 99% natural, which I already loved from the get go. The ingredients are organic carrots, which deliver softness and radiance while protecting sensitive skin; Soybean, which immediately relieves try, itchy skin; and Allantoin, an active ingredient that draws moisture into the skin while providing relief from excessive dryness.

Upon my first application, I loved how quickly the lotion sank into my hands. The directions tell you to use a gentle, circular massaging motion to really help the cream sink into your skin. My hands are always dry, so I am constantly slathering on lotion multiple times a day. However, with this hand cream I was able to put it on once in the morning and the softness lastedall day. I have never been able to say that about a hand cream before!

After Three Weeks

It has been about three weeks now, and I am still in love with Yes to Carrots hand cream. It has quickly replaced my regular lotion, and I use it twice a day, every day. My hands have never looked better! While I am used to creams being thick and hard to rub in, this hand cream penetrated my skin instantly and was very easy to massage in. I would recommend this to anyone who suffers from dry, chapped or irritated hands and is looking for relief.

Yes to Carrots Intense Repair Body Lotion

First Impressions

Because I had such good results with their hand cream, I was expecting a similar experience with their Intense Repair Body Lotion. All of the ingredients are the same as in their hand lotion, with the exception of one: Primrose Oil, which is a naturally rich oil that effectively moisturizes skin.

The smell is clean and fresh without being overpowering or smelling like chemicals (win!,) plus it’s non-greasy and soaks in almost immediately. My skin literally just sucked it up!

After Three Weeks

Three weeks later, I still use this lotion on a regular basis. Since moving to a dryer climate, my regular body lotion just doesn’t cut it anymore – but Yes to Carrots Intense Repair Body Lotion does the trick. It’s fast absorbing, intensely hydrating and I love how  my skin looks healthier now. I can finally feel comfortable in my skin again without experiencing that horrible dry, itchy feeling I used to have. This product is definitely a winner in my book.
