I’m not sure I agree with the statement. Bras are the most functional type of clothing, and like anything functional it can be aesthetically pleasing. Bra straps only look tacky when you start going to lengths to hide them. I simply match my bra to the top I’m wearing, just treat the strap the same way you would a belt.

Thanks for this post. As soon as I read it, I bought one of the clear ones.
That said, there are times when I wear tops knowing my bra straps will show. I just make sure the bra is cute and a pretty color like red. But there are also times when a “cleaner look” with no bra straps showing is preferable.
